In-Home Parent Education
Parents referred by the Department of Child & Family Services receive in-home parent education and hands-on coaching by our highly trained In-Home Educators. Parents have weekly meetings, over the course of four months. Our goal is to prevent and alleviate the risk of child abuse and neglect while strengthening family relationships and increasing life skills.
These unique in-home parent education programs are effective because it allows customized lessons to parents in their homes. After a new parenting skill is taught and discussed, home practice exercises are assigned to strengthen family relationships and increase life skills. Our In-Home Educators cover the entire Northern Utah Region from North Salt Lake to the Idaho border.
